Star Service, Inc. of Mobile is proud to announce we have partnered with Chevron Pascagoula Refinery to maintain and service its HVAC equipment needs.
Chevron was evaluating methods to reduce HVAC facility costs at the refinery while not compromising quality of service delivery and response. The Star Service Team was able to demonstrate its service capabilities and proactive approach to managing HVAC systems and operating costs.
The agreement also calls for Star Service to maintain a fleet of HVAC service technicians to service approximately 250 HVAC systems. The technicians will be on-site on weekdays and available after hours around the clock to provide fast response times for emergency service needs.
The Pascagoula Refinery processes 330,000 barrels of crude oil per day. The refinery's primary products are motor gasoline, jet fuel and diesel fuel. Other products include fuel oils such as bunker fuel, Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), aviation gasoline, petroleum coke and sulfur.
The Pascagoula Refinery also manufactures chemicals that include paraxylene, a pure compound used as a feed stock in the textile and plastics industry, and benzene, used in the manufacture of a wide range of products including automobile tires, sporting goods, nylon and pharmaceuticals.
The Pascagoula Refinery’s manufacturing, storage and shipping facilities consist of 20 major refining process units, more than 200 tanks, and marine terminals.
The Star Service Technical Team completed the Chevron site safety, security, and manpower requirements and both Chevron and Star Service are looking forward to a positive long-term business relationship.
